Nightingale is a monorepo of independently built packages: Go Connect RPC APIs, Rust processing services, React SPAs, and shared protobuf definitions over PostgreSQL with row-level security.

Dev documentation lives next to the code it describes, as README.md in each package directory. This section collects the cross-cutting material that has no single package to belong to.
