Followed Patients
Esta página aún no está disponible en tu idioma.
Patients under Monitoring lists the patients you follow in your organization: the people whose care you are part of, as opposed to everyone your organization treats.
How staff are linked to a patient
Section titled “How staff are linked to a patient”A staff member can be linked to a patient in one of four ways:
| Link | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Primary | The patient’s primary caregiver, assigned by someone who manages assignments. |
| Assigned | Assigned to the patient by someone who manages assignments. |
| Follow | You chose to follow the patient yourself. |
| Requested | The patient asked you to follow them from their app. |
All four put the patient on this list. Being linked (other than by a pending request) also lets you see the contacts the patient has chosen to share with their care team.
Following a patient
Section titled “Following a patient”Choose Add Followed Patient, then search for the patient as described in Finding or registering a patient. Once you select them, you follow them and they appear here. You can also follow, or stop following, a patient from the top bar of their visit page.
Following does not depend on monitoring: you can follow a patient whether or not your organization monitors them, and stopping monitoring leaves you following. The list shows a Monitoring column so you can see which of your patients are monitored. Alerts and risk scores come only from monitored patients, so a patient who is not monitored produces none.
The list
Section titled “The list”Each row shows the patient’s name, email, country and whether your organization monitors them. Choose View to open their record.
Who sees what
Section titled “Who sees what”This screen needs a role that can see followed patients. Following patients yourself needs the follow permission, and assigning colleagues as primary or assigned needs the assignment permission.
A role limited to followed patients can open the record of every patient you are linked to as primary, assigned or follow, and of no one else in your organization. For such a role, a pending request from a patient does not appear on this list and does not open their record.
